My sister Susan, her husband Matt, and my nieces Chelsea and Laura took the train from North Dakota to Oregon for Thanksgiving. Chelsea immediately fell in love with Betty, and although I won't be giving her away, I will let Chelsea take her for a spin after she gets her driver's license.
We took a day trip to Newport on the Oregon Coast, about 90 minutes away from our home in Independence. We did run into some rain off and on (this is Oregon after all), but the weather made for some more dramatic pictures of the Yaquina Bay Bridge, the Yaqina Bay Lighthouse and the Yaquina Head Lighthouse.
